FAQ's

What wax is used in your wax melts?

We use a Rapeseed & Coconut Oil wax blend to make our wax melts. This means that our wax is:

  • Fully biodegradable
  • Vegan friendly
  • Economically sustainable
  • Animal cruelty free!

PLUS it is completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax & synthetic additives!

Are your products eco-friendly?

Yes - from our wax blend, to our vegan friendly fragrance oils, to our plant based biodegradable mica's and glitters - and finished with our no-plastic cellulose wrapping and clamshells that are fully recyclable AND our entirely plastic free, you can be rest assured that we do all we can to keep our products as eco-friendly as possible!

Are your products safe to use around pets?

Yes they are! It is some types of essential oils that can be dangerous for pets, and not fragrance oils. We use only fragrance oils in our products (not essential oils), which means our entire range of wax melts are perfectly safe to use around pets.

However, our beloved pets can sometimes be a little more sensitive than others (just like us) and some react more to more floral scents, or citrus scents etc, therefore it is always worth keeping an eye out on your pets whenever you introduce a new scent into the home (fragrance oil, cleaning product, perfume - any scented products!) to make sure that they are always happy!

What is the best way to melt you wax melts?

Whilst wax melting is extremely simple (and once you start, you will be hooked!) there are a number of steps that we recommend, to get the BEST burn rate and fragrance throw from our melts!

1. Always use a burner designed for wax melts

2. Regularly check your burner for hairline cracks or chips before use. Never use a burner with cracks in as this becomes a fire hazard!

3. Use 1 tealight (4 Hr / 8 Hr) - Never put two tealights in your burner at the same time.

4. Always keep your burner in sight when burning. NEVER leave a lit tealight unattended.

5. Keep away from draughts.

6. Always pay attention to the safety information on the packaging.

7. Always keep your burner on a steady, stable and heatproof surface and away from any fire hazards.

8. Remove all packaging before placing the wax melt in your burner.

9. Use a suitable amount of wax for the size of your burner. But, do not overfill, as this will cause an overspill.

10. Do not attempt to move you wax burner while burning.
